About Us
Emes Paper Products Ltd was established in 1986 by Michael Savvides when he identified the need for disposable plates to be used at local weddings. Prior to establishing the company Michael worked for many years as a top executive in the fields of printing, packaging, corrugated board production, and paper making, giving him the essential tools to kick start his venture and allowing the company to quickly expand into servicing local bakeries and confectioneries.
We are now known to the catering industry for our high quality which we take great pride in, and thus we give priority to continuous personnel training, strict product specifications, and extensive market research, to ensure that both current and future customer needs and requirements are always met.
The company has been certified with ISO 9001, Quality Management Systems, since 2004 and intends to be certified with ISO 22000, Food Safety Management Systems, and ISO 14000, Environmental Management Systems, within the next years.

Staff and management are fully committed to the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of a quality management system throughout the company based on the requirements of ISO 9001, Quality Management Systems, and which with compliance with the current legislations sets specifications and checks for goods and services at every level thus assuring standardisation of quality.

Timeline
1986 - Emes Paper Products Ltd established as a party plate maker.
1996 - Relocation to own premises in the Ypsonas industrial estate, where the current offices, production, and storage areas are housed.
2004 - Certified with ISO 9001, Quality Management Systems.
2015 - Implementation of product traceability system from supplier to customer.
